Done for this year the, the KITCHIES were announced in February in London; the BSFA / JAMES WHITE AWARD was announced in April; the prestigious ARTHUR C CLARKE awards are shortlisted in March and announced in May at the Sci-fi London Film Festival; the SFWA NEBULA AWARDS are announced in May also, as are the BRAM STOKER AWARDS at World Horror Con and the JAMES TIPTREE AWARD (for SFF that promotes an understanding of changing gender roles). Finally on Sunday 17th August The HUGO AWARDS were announced at LonCon (the shortlist having been announced on the 19th April)
